The curry is very special, quintessentially Japanese but also featuring an Indian spin— more texture and spices than the usual, sweeter, smoothly blended Japanese curry. And I do prefer these different flavors here. The sauce is not too oily or too salty either, combining the best characteristics from both cuisines. The portion of beef is very generous, mostly tender. Rice is decent. The pickles are refreshing. I just wish there were more fresh leafy vegetable side options other than kimchi and edamame. Portions are generous, the curry is just hot enough that it will leave a tingling sensation on top your skull. It might look very dull, but its flavourful and layered, I had the beef curry and there was quite a few chunks of diced beef in it! And did I already mention the staff are friendly? They took their time to really introduce me to their toppings and what I should add on to my dish, and they did that with a big smile on their face! ”
